Who I am

I hold a Bachelor of Visual Arts and have developed my portrait practice through years of self-directed study and experimentation.

Working from my home studio in Adelaide, South Australia, I create expressive, photorealistic portraits in charcoal, oil and watercolour.

My work balances the raw, visible marks of each medium with quiet, refined detail, creating portraits that feel both immediate and timeless.

Whether the subject is a person or a beloved animal, my aim is to capture more than a likeness. I want each portrait to hold something of the character, presence and story of its subject.
